We delivered the Select awning system to Villa Valentina on Mälarterrassen. With wood-clad posts and a specially printed awning fabric, a weather-protected outdoor dining area was created where design and function meet in perfect balance.

For Schnitzy in Gamla Stan, we supplied a patio awning with an LED-lit logo, lacquered details in the restaurant's profile colour, and updated fascias for the existing building sign. The result was an improvement for the entire exterior, where design, function, and brand work together.

We at PS Skylt & Inredning recently had the pleasure of helping Gröna Stugan weatherproof their lovely outdoor dining area. For a long time, they had identified the need for a solution that would allow them to host booked summer events regardless of the weather. The solution was a large parasol, a full 5 × 5 metres, which perfectly suits the space and provides both protection and an inviting atmosphere.

För La Recette i Kristiansand fick vi vara med från första idé och ritning till en färdig, sammanhållen restaurangmiljö. Med en specialanpassad pergola med olika utfall, vindskydd, markiser och värme över hela serveringen skapades en uteservering som kan användas stora delar av året. Vi levererade även stolar och bord till restaurangen, vilket gav en tydlig röd tråd mellan ute och inne, både i uttryck och funktion.

Till Villa Copenhagen har vi levererat en Jumbo Markis från Stobag för att ge väderskydd över baren på takterrassen, samt två FA 92 DUO-markiser i storlek 6x6 meter till uteserveringen utanför den stora matsalen. Resultatet är fler användbara sittplatser, bättre gästkomfort och en utemiljö som kan hållas öppen under fler timmar och fler dagar per säsong.

How we secure your project
The order is the same in every shading project, from a single unit to a whole property with many windows, facades and outdoor areas. It exists so the solution works in real operation — not only on the drawing.
Phase 01
We review the façade on-site: cardinal directions, glass surfaces, when the sun is present, and how the premises are used. The goal is to understand the actual problem – heat, glare, privacy, or aesthetics – and provide an early indication of scope and budget.
Phase 02
Here, the direction is translated into lasting choices: product type, dimensions, fastening to existing structures, wind load and wind sensing, as well as electricity and control. We coordinate with property owners, management, and electricians to ensure the solution can be installed practically.
Phase 03
Production, installation, and commissioning. Our own installers set up, connect, and configure the automation with you – and we review operation and winter routines before leaving the site.

It depends on the facade, orientation, glazing and how the premises are used. South-facing facades with large glazed areas often gain the most from external screens or awnings with a long projection, while west and east facing positions need protection against low sun. We review the conditions on site before proposing a solution.
Yes, when it is sized correctly. We select cassette, arm, fabric and controls to match the position and recommend wind sensors in exposed locations. External shading also needs a simple operating and winter routine, which we go through with you at installation.
External shading limits the heat before it reaches glazed sections and premises and therefore reduces cooling demand in summer, which is usually noticeable in both indoor climate and operation. The effect depends on the facade, the glazing and the ventilation in the property.
Yes. Printed fabric, lettering in the valance and illuminated LED valances are common options, and we draw them together with the property's other signage so the facade holds together.
