Schnitzy in Gamla Stan with a new patio awning and LED-lit logo
Schnitzy · Gamla Stan, Stockholm · 2026
For Schnitzy in Gamla Stan, we supplied a patio awning with an LED-lit logo, lacquered details in the restaurant's profile colour, and updated fascias for the existing building sign. The result was an improvement for the entire exterior, where design, function, and brand work together.
Utgångsläge
Schnitzy has a restaurant in Gamla Stan, with an outdoor dining area in a sensitive and narrow street space where the facade and signage are part of the experience.
Behov
The restaurant needed weather protection for its outdoor dining area, a clearer presence in the streetscape, and an update of the existing building sign – without interrupting operations.
PS roll
PS was responsible for solution proposals, drawings, manufacturing, lacquering, lighting, and installation, with one point of contact throughout the project.
Lösning
Patio awning adapted to the facade and outdoor dining area, LED-lit logo in the valance, lacquered details in the profile colour and new fascias for the existing building sign.
Delivery
The installation was planned according to Gamla Stan's limited accessibility and carried out in short work windows without the restaurant having to close.
Resultat
A cohesive exterior where the awning, lighting, and sign work together. The outdoor dining area can be used in more weather conditions, and the brand is visible even in the dark.

Phils Burger · Stockholm · 2022
